Watch: DC in Chaos: Homeless Man Attacks Trump DOJ Official!

While the liberal media continues to parrot the Biden administration’s false narrative that crime is declining, the streets of Washington, D.C., tell a far different story. Harmeet Dhillon, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, narrowly escaped an attempted robbery by a homeless man as she walked back to the Department of Justice on Tuesday afternoon. The shocking incident underscores the lawlessness plaguing the nation’s capital—a direct result of weak Democratic policies that have emboldened criminals and left citizens vulnerable.

Earlier that day, Dhillon and The Gateway Pundit’s White House Correspondent Jordan Conradson were harassed by the same homeless man, who aggressively demanded Dhillon’s water bottle. Shortly after, the situation escalated when the deranged vagrant lunged for her phone.

“A malodorous homeless person attempted to swipe my phone today while I was walking in DC back to the DOJ from an appointment—but he was not in his right mind and I artfully dodged the attempt,” Dhillon revealed. “It’ll be a while till things feel safe in this city, so everyone stay alert!”

This brazen daylight attack comes as President Donald Trump takes decisive action to restore order in D.C., invoking Section 740 of the DC Home Rule Act to place the Metropolitan Police Department under federal control and deploying the National Guard to combat the city’s soaring crime rates.

“We will bring in the military if it’s needed,” Trump declared, proving once again that he is the only leader willing to take bold steps to protect Americans. Meanwhile, the left-wing media remains silent on the rampant violence, choosing instead to downplay the crisis while innocent citizens suffer.

The President’s swift response follows the brutal beating of Edward Coristine, a DOGE worker known as “Big Balls,” by a violent mob—another example of the unchecked chaos in Democrat-run cities. While liberals push defund-the-police rhetoric, Trump is taking real action, authorizing state governors to deploy their National Guard troops and clean up the streets.
