Wow! Trump Set to Return to Butler PA to Resume Interrupted Rally!

Trump’s Triumphant Return to Butler Township

In an announcement made on Truth Social, our fearless former President Donald Trump has declared his intent to revisit Butler Township in Pennsylvania. This comes after he narrowly escaped an assassination attempt earlier in July. The news comes to us courtesy of CBS News.

A Rally for a Hero

So, what could possibly motivate Trump to return to the very location where a 20-year-old gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, nearly took his life? In his post, Trump reveals that he plans to hold a rally in honor of fallen hero Corey Comperatore, a former firefighter who tragically lost his life in the shooting incident on July 13. As of now, there are no details about the exact location or date of the rally. All we’re told is to “Stay tuned for details.”

The Aftermath of the Assassination Attempt

The horror didn’t stop with Comperatore’s death. Crooks also shot and injured David Dutch and James Copenhaver after he started firing from a rooftop near the rally site. One of his bullets even grazed our former president’s right ear.

Copenhaver’s Struggle for Survival

A report from Fox News tells us that Copenhaver is still fighting for his life due to the injuries he suffered during this failed assassination attempt on Trump. His family expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support in a statement given to the media.

“The Copenhaver family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support for James ‘Jim’ as he recovers from the injuries that he tragically sustained during President Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024,” his family shared in their update on Copenhaver. “Jim would like to especially thank the first responders, medics, and hospital staff who have provided him with initial and continuing care. Additionally, Jim would like to express his thoughts and prayers for the other victims, their families, and President Trump. He prays for a safe and speedy recovery for them all.”

Victim’s Family Speak Out

Joseph Feldman, a spokesperson for the victim’s family and an attorney at the Law Offices of Max C. Feldman, spoke with Fox and revealed that Copenhaver is in critical but stable condition. He referred to him as a “tough guy.”

The Gunman’s Downfall

A CBS News analysis found that the gunman fired eight rounds in under six seconds before he was shot and killed by a United States Secret Service sniper.

Trump’s Upcoming Rally

On Thursday, Trump announced a July 31 rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This will mark his first return to Pennsylvania after the assassination attempt.
