Delusional Rep. Cory Booker Suggests Democrats’ Strategy to Defeat Trump ‘Is Working’ (Video)
Rep. Cory Booker (D-NJ) continues to insist that the Democrats are successfully countering President Donald Trump’s influence, despite evidence to the contrary. During a recent appearance on CNN, Booker expressed his perplexing belief that the Democrats’ approach to overcoming Trump is effective.
When CNN host Dana Bash queried him about why the Democratic Party lacked a more robust plan after “warning” the public about Project 2025, Booker’s response was revealing. He stated, “Well, again, I think the plan right now is working in four parts.” This assertion seems disconnected from reality.
The liberal media and Democrats are trying to present a narrative that doesn’t align with the actual state of affairs. Booker detailed what he called a legal strategy: “One is a legal strategy to stop him from violating the separation of powers, from violating our civil service laws, civil rights laws and we’re winning. We see 41 cases being taken, 10 of them last week, 12 of them, excuse me, were successful in stopping some of his illegal actions.” Despite these claims, there’s a notable lack of significant outcomes that have truly hindered Trump’s momentum or policy efforts.
Booker continued by describing what he sees as a legislative and oversight attempt to halt Trump’s agenda. He asserts, “The next is a legislative and oversight effort to really try to expose it, not to treat this as Democrat versus Republican, right or left, but really right or wrong and continue to try to use our positions procedurally as well as legislatively to stop what he’s doing.” This portrayal of a non-partisan effort seems more like an attempt to legitimize what is clearly a partisan battle.
Finally, he pointed out the role of media and citizen involvement: “Then finally, perhaps most importantly, because all of us have to have a role, from the media to everyday citizens, which is shining a light on the dark corners of what they’re doing and how it is actually endangering Americans’ lives, is threatening to raise the cost of people’s everyday goods and inflation and more.” This alarmist perspective does little but attempt to scare the public and rally Democratic supporters without offering concrete solutions.

While Booker portrays all these elements as a coherent and successful strategy, the reality paints a different picture. The Democratic Party, supported by liberal media, continues to struggle against Trump’s enduring popularity and policy initiatives that resonate strongly with a large section of Americans.
